🎀🎀🎀Children in need, comic relief & Red Nose Day are always highly publicised & supported by almost everyone, especially at school, I feel other organisations & charities never get a chance, my passion for John Green's novel 'The Fault In Our Stars' has lead me to make a infinitive amount of good decisions & has taught me the most important life lessons, I genuinely can't describe how & why it inspires me everyday, but after becoming more aware & educated on the faults of cancer, I constantly strive to do my part to raise awareness & to inspire young people like myself. Overwhelmed yet proud, I never imagined I'd successfully raise money for one of the worlds most important charities, this is the first personal, major event I've ever done & I can't believe just via the inspiration of a story I've read & a film I watched, which explores the faults of living with cancer in the most heartbreaking yet realist form, would motivate me into being a better person, on a daily basis with just the smallest of gestures.I know it's impossible to face cancer but we really can only beat it together, but I'm a very firm believer in making small, steady yet impacting changes to our world and with a spark of creativity & dedication, honestly, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. I've been planing, designing, baking & creating for my fundraiser non-stop lately, it was so worth it. I'd really like to thank my family for buying ingredients & decorations for my stand, and Gabby for helping with the sales, but most importantly for the support, I know they're just as passionate about raising awareness as I am, but so are all the people who came along to my bake sale and either donated or purchased a bake to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.Finally, I'm very excited to announce, I raised --- £117.72 --- for Cancer Research UK! Not only have I made a difference, but I received countless compliments on my baking skills & my passion, with the congratulating came many 'baking' comments, I've been told to open a bakery, been asked for recipes & I also shocked many people as they didn't believe I had home-made everything I was selling. Truth is, hard work pays off.🎀🎀🎀
